43% of females 18-59 have sexual function complaints but 75% of females feel that their physician would be uncomfortable discussing these issues. Many also fear that there are no treatments available to help them, there are options available. "It's all in your head" is not an adequate answer. The four most common sexual dysfunctions; decreased libido (desire), arousal disorder, orgasmic disorders, and pain with intercourse. These all are potentially treatable.

IBS/IBD Program

Whether its Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's or Ulcerative colitis), there are treatment options available that do not require immune supressing steroids. We look for the source of the problem, not just treat the symptoms. This program involves; dietary evaluation and recommendations, vitamin and nutrient supplementation. Food allergy work-up may be needed.

Osteopenia/Osteoporosis

1 in 2 women over age 50 will develop a fracture (spine, hip, wrist) related to osteopenia/osteoporosis. >50% of these fractures occur in females with osteopenia not osteoporosis. We have seen fit women in there early 30's that have osteopenia and this should be addressed.
